What features should I look for in a standing desk? We like dual motor standing desks with programmable controls—they’re a little more expensive, but moving the desk up and down is smoother. Their frames usually have a better build overall, too, making for less wobble during height adjustments and while in use. Programmable controls means you can go back and forth between two or even three height positions with a single button press, which makes for much better quality of life. No need to wait and monitor the adjustment as it’s happening. (That might sound like not such a big deal, but if you do it multiple times a day over the course of the year, those seconds feel tedious. Trust me on this one.) 2. What makes for a good office chair? This question can be tricky to answer, since what’s comfortable is a little different for everyone. Generally, you want enough support for your back so it doesn’t take on a hunched position, but not so much you can’t feel relaxed while sitting. You also ideally want to keep pressure off your lower back if you’ll be sitting for long periods—office chairs usually have seats shaped for this, rather than the flatter surfaces of kitchen and casual desk chairs.  Armrests, head supports, and mesh fabric can also play a role in comfort, but you may want to try out those features on a sample chair that a friend owns or in a store to see if you need those features. The mesh is particularly good if you sweat or get warm. Wheeled models are also useful for easily moving the chair—and you can upgrade the casters, as Reddit recommends for an even smoother experience. 3. How do I know if I’m getting a good deal on standing desks or office chairs during Prime Day? The deals we select are chosen not just for the product, but because their prices are among the lowest we’ve seen, especially given the pricing history over the last year.  If you’re striking out on your own, be sure to look at reviews, as well as Amazon’s AI summaries of user reviews—avoid anything with high return rates, or a known flaw. Also look for brands with not just high user reviews, but independent reviews online. Many standing desks are just rebranded models, and so too for cheaper desk chairs. 4. Will tariffs affect office chair and standing desk prices? Should I buy now? Very possibly yes. A high portion of manufacturing happens overseas, and the U.S. government intends to resume imposing sizable taxes on imports from many countries on July 9. If that happens, costs for goods will likely rise over the second part of 2025—and because most items won’t jump in price immediately, choosing to shop sooner rather than later could be the savvier financial move.

Best robot lawn mower deals during Prime Day 2025
Achieving that perfectly manicured lawn is a whole lot less time-consuming now that a robot can do the job for you. And over the long term, a robot lawn mower will cost less than hiring a landscaper—and it won’t expect a tip every week. Top-of-the-line models cost a pretty penny, but they can climb slopes and handle very large yards (we’re talking acres of grass). While early robot lawn mowers required you to lay down a boundary wire to prevent them from wandering out of your yard, each of mowers listed here use advanced navigation technology that eliminates the need for any wires. The good news is that we’ve already spotted some great deals on robot lawn mowers ahead of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, and we expect there will be more when the sale actually gets underway on July 8. The LawnMaster OcuMow is well-suited to smaller yards—up to 1/6 of an acre or 7,260 square feet—and it doesn’t require a boundary wire. You can pick one up ahead of Prime Day at a 19% discount at Amazon, bringing its final price to just $650. Anthbot says its Genie 600 robot lawn mower uses AI to avoid obstacles as it mows lawns up to .22 acres (9,583 square feet). And since it relies on GPS technology for navigation, it doesn’t require a boundary wire. Amazon is offering a 20% discount on the mower, as well as an extra $100 off coupon, bringing its final price down to $699. Segway is offering two deals on its Navimow-series robot lawn mowers, if you purchase them direct from Segway: The Navimow i105 has enough power to cut up to 1/8 of an acre, and you can get one now for just $749 (25% off at Segway). Got a bigger yard? Consider the Navimow i110, which is suited for lawns up to 1/4 of an acre. It’s on sale during Prime Day for $999, a discount of 23%. You’ll need a robot mower with a powerful motor and all-wheel drive–the Mowrator S1 is shown here–to tackle a sloped yard.Ed Oswald/Foundry Eufy has expanded its smart home offerings to include a line of robot lawn mowers, including the Eufy E18. This mower can tackle lawns up to .3 acres (13,068 square feet) and it can climb up to an 18-degree incline. Ahead of Prime Day, you can buy the Eufy Robot Lawn Mower E18 for $1,700–a 35% discount off its $2,000 MSRP. Amazon has knocked 20% off the price of three mowers in the Husqvarna Automower iQ series. The Husqvarna Automower 410 iQ, which is capable of mowing up to .5 acres is going for $2,400; you can get the Husqvarna Automower 420 iQ, which can handle a full acre of lawn, sale-priced at $2,800; or if you need coverage up to 2 acres, opt for the Husqvarna Automower 440 iQ, which Amazon has priced at $3,440. The Ecovacs Goat A2500 uses LiDAR navigation to eliminate the need for a boundary wire, and its suitable for large lawns up to 5/8 of an acre (27,225 square feet). Amazon is offering an 40% discount ahead of Prime Day, bringing your final price down to $1,200. Its bigger cousin, the Ecovacs Goat A3000, can tackle lawns up to .75 acres. Amazon has put this model on sale for $2,099, a 30% discount from its MSRP. If your lawn has slopes, you’ll need a robot lawn mower like the Mowrator S1—one of our favorites—that has the power and traction to climb them. This model isn’t completely autonomous—you drive it with a joystick-equipped remote control—but its all-wheel-drive motor makes short work of inclines up to 37 degrees. Amazon is offering a 10-percent discount on the Mowrator S1, bringing its price down to $3,599. The Yarbo YB-M001 is another robot lawn mower suitable for sloped yards. Like the Mowrator S1, you control it with a game console-like remote control (this one closely resembles an Xbox controller), and it can climb up to a 35-degree slope. Where the Mowrator S1 is rated for yards up to 1.12 acres, Yarbo’s bot is rated to tackle lawns up to 6 acres. Amazon has sliced a full 20% off the price of the Yarbo M1, reducing it to $3,999. This story is part of TechHive’s in-depth coverage of the best robot lawn mowers. We’ll update this list as we find new deals ahead of and during Amazon’s Prime Day 2025 sale. And if you’re looking to save money on more of the latest technology, visit PCWorld’s Amazon Prime Day Tech Deals 2025 hub. Remember, you need to have an Amazon Prime membership to score Prime Day deals, but you can sign up for a free trial if you’re not. (Note: The deals on the Segway Navimow dealers are offered directly by Segway, so you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime member to get them.) Finally, check out the PCWorld Prime Day live blog on July 8, where editors from the Full Nerd podcast will discuss great tech deals from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Eastern.
